My son was diagnosed with a speech delat last year and we were referred to a local speech therapy organization called Star Bright in Austin, Tx. Unfortunately, our insurance company did not cover any of the therapy sessions and we paid approx $3000 out of pocket. My friend told me that your company had helped them with their bill for her son’s physical therapy. I am wondering if it is possible to get any help from your organization. Thank you
Christy,
We would be happy to learn more about your situation and get request specifics so that we can turn them into our allocation committee. If you could call us at 254-933-7597, I would be happy to start the process. Thank you and have a wonderful afternoon!

Ms. Lange,
We do help with bills and such that Medicaid and your insurance does not cover. Please go to Services and under that tab there is a form called a Needs Request Form. Fill that form out and email or fax to us so that we can process your request in order to let you know if we can help.

I’d like to receive information in reference to the following Services Offered in the Killeen, Belton or Temple areas…. The Monthly Afternoon Respite and Monthly Parent Training Workshops. I’d also like to find out if there are any type of services available to help my son whom is diagnosed with Asperger’s. He is 11 and is having a difficult time with the transition into Middle School. Thank you very much.
Diana Guzman
Hi Ms. Guzman,
I hope you are able to attend our upcoming conference October 15, there you will recieve lots of information and you will learn about various resources in the areas you are requesting. CSNN has partnered with EFMP and another local Autism support group where we offer support groups twice a month now at Education Connection. Please email me at srodriguez@special-children.org for more information. We also have the A+ Support Group that is at First Baptist Church in Belton once a month. A+ Support Group is a support group primarily for Autism but can be for any family that has a child with a disability.

Hi, Stacey,
Thank you for your work with this network! It is so important to us!
I mailed my receipts to you on August 30th to: 204 North East Street Belton, 76513
They were returned. This was the address on the original letter you sent me in May.
Can you help me?
Thank you,
Hello Rose,
This is Mhyrnnette Rodriguez writing on behalf of Stacy. I apologize for any misunderstanding this may have caused. Our address is:
204 North East Suite F.
Belton, Tx 76513
It was probably sent back because it was missing the suite number. I apologize if you got any correspondence without the suite number on it. We look forward to being able to help your family. If you prefer to fax your receipts, you may do so at 254-933-7313. Thank you and have a blessed week!
I would like to apply for a stipend for myself and my 5 year old Autistic/ADHD twins, so we can attend the conference. We live in Elgin, Tx and it is bit of a drive, but I came last year and the information I learned was wonderful. I made some wonderful friends and was able to attend and not have to worry about my children. It was a great day for all of us. The lovely students who looked after my twins were so wonderful, and the boys had so much fun they didn’t want to leave. Please consider my request.
Thank You

Ms. Roberts,
Unfortunately our funds are a reimbursement process and you would need approval beforehand to determine if funds are available for you to use for transportation. To request funds for travel to this conference you can go to Services and fill out needs request form and submit it.

Hello. My daughter has a genetic condition which causes moderate/severe developmental delays. She has physical, occupational, and speech therapy 3 days a week. I’ve noticed some of the equipment they use during the sessions works really well for my daughter. I was wondering if we could receive some assistance purchasing some of the simple, easy to use equipment? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Shayla
Shayla,
Please tell me what type of equipment you are in need of and I can see if we have any that we can loan to you in our loan department. We can have the equipment adapted to fit your child as well. If not, please fill out a needs request form under the Services tab on this website and we can assess whether we can help monetarily with your request.

Hello Stacy.
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back with you. I didn’t think my message went through and just happen to check back and saw your reply. I am looking for a half balance ball to help my daughter with her balance. She has poor gross motor skills so I’m trying to do things at home, in addition to the services she receives in therapy. I was also wondering if you know of any programs providing iPads for children with diabilities. I’ve heard of several applications that assist with fine motor development and I would like to get one for my daughter but I wanted to see if there are any sponsors providing them. Please let me know what you have available. And again, my apologies for the delayed response.
Shayla
